Arrow star Emily Bett Rickards shows plenty of skin in tiny halter-neck bikini and plunging cover-up as she cosies up to pals during beach day in Miami

She's had a stellar year juggling her role on hit show Arrow with big screen ventures.

And Emily Bett Rickards was in the mood to ring in 2016 in style, jetting to the Miami sunshine with a group of friends.

The 24-year-old, who plays Felicity Smoak in Arrow, showed off her bikini body in a tiny black two-piece as she ran around the beach hugging her pals ahead of her NYE celebrations on Thursday.

The blonde beauty looked gorgeous in her barely-there bikini which she teamed with a pretty print cover-up.

With a plunging neckline to show off her swimwear, the blue number also flashed the actress' tanned legs as the messed around on the beach.

Emily added a pair of round retro shades to her beach look while leaving her short blonde hair loose in natural curls and sporting just a hint of makeup.

The TV star seemed in great spirits as she laughed with her pals over drinks, leaning in close to hug two shirtless male friends.

It's been a jet set month for Emily who jetted to Cuba just after Christmas while also holidaying in Maui, Hawaii at the beginning of December.   

Emily has been cutting loose after a busy year, which saw her land her first major Hollywood movie role in the Saorise Ronan-fronted drama Brooklyn.

The blonde has been promoting the period flick non-stop on her Instagram account, encouraging everyone to go see it.

Emily plays Patty McGuire in the romance, who lives in the same Irish boarding house as Saoirse's character Eilis Lacy when she emigrates to America.

Meanwhile, season four of Arrow returned last month to rave reception from fans of the comic book-inspired series.

Teasing what's in store, Emily told Vulture: 'As we left off in happiness, we start in happiness, and then we get into rough, treacherous turmoil and danger right off the bat. The city is in grave danger. It has a massive threat. It has been compromised by a large group of individuals.'
