Reese Witherspoon didn't let a Southern California downpour dampen her spirits.
The 39-year-old actress made an effort to look preppy and chic while hitting up her local Starbucks coffeehouse in Los Angeles for a couple of hot beverages.
Reese wrapped up in a dark blue trench coat with brown leather buckles over jeans, a red V-necked sweater and purple gingham blouse.

She looked youthful with her pale blonde hair spilling over her shoulders and bright pink lipstick brightening up her features.
Reese was on a solo jaunt, strolling across the wet leaf-strewn parking lot in rugged cowgirl boots.
She soon emerged with a pair of takeout coffee cups, one in each hand and easy to carry thanks in part to the backpack she wore.

The mother-of-three certainly deserved a breather after a busy and bustling holiday season.
She spent much of December promoting her DraperJames line of clothing, accessories and household goods on her Instagram page.
In October, Reese received a $10 million investment to expand the business, which has provided the incentive to boost sales.
