'He hates me': CBB star Angie Bowie blames ex husband David for turning their son Duncan Jones against her  

Celebrity Big Brother star Angie Bowie says she blames ex husband David for turning her son, Duncan Jones against her.

The 66-year-old discussed her feelings about her relationship with her 43-year-old son on Wednesday night's episode of the show.

The blonde beauty, who was married to the musician for ten years from 1970, told fellow Housemate David Gest that her son 'hates her.'

David said: 'I can picture you walking in with David, the coolest guy...it all faded. It's your daughter's time.'

Angie explains she doesn't see her son as he ‘hates her’ and thinks her ex made that happen, but she has a ‘wonderful’ daughter.

David reveals that he doesn't have kids as his ex-wife Liza wasn't able to but that they were looking to adopt. 

'It was better that we didn't,' he said.  

MailOnline has contacted a rep for both David Bowie, Duncan Jones and CBB for comment.  

She has already spoken about the 'terrible' breakup she experienced with the Ziggy Stardust musician.

Ahead of going into the show, she said: 'Did you think I was going to be polite, to be nice, so that people like me?

Adding: 'No. It was terrible when we broke up, it was awful. He came to visit at first, and then he didn't want to visit me anymore.'

She entered the house on Monday night dressed in a burgundy faux fur coat, and matching lippy, the star told the audience how the Ziggy Stardust icon proposed to her 'on a postcard.' 

The former couple try to avoid one another where possible and Angie confessed the last time she saw her famous ex was 40 years ago.

The couple met when she started working at Mercury Records.

Speaking about her reasons for taking part in the show alongside stars including TOWIE's Gemma Collins and Jonathan Cheban, she said: 

'I wanted to do a reality show to promote my books. I've been asked to do a hundreds of them in the States but I've said 'no' every time. I just wanted to do the biggest and the best!'

Angie revealed she is certainly no wallflower -  especially when it comes to confrontation.

She said: 'Self-absorption is boring. People who are rude, are boring. People who are unpleasant, are boring.'

She said: 'I wanted to do a reality show to promote my books. I've been asked to do a hundreds of them in the States but I've said 'no' every time. I just wanted to do the biggest and the best!'
