Twice as nice! Tina Fey buys $9.51m NYC condo directly above current residence with plans to make into duplex

Tina Fey has just snapped herself up a beautiful new condo in west side Manhattan.

The 45-year-old actress, with husband Jeff Richmond, paid $9.51 million for the property which sits directly above her existing condo. 

The 10-room property has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and from photos provided by Douglas Elliman real estate it looks to be updated with modern touches and move-in ready for the star.

The price tag Tina paid - which is considerably higher than the $7.5 million asking price - is thought to be because she plans to create a duplex, according to Architectural Digest.

Inside the well-lit unit is a spacious living room with vanilla walls and a private elevator landing for the former SNL star.

The living area connects to an elegant dining room with large sliding doors.

A well appointed kitchen has a central island is open plan into a family room and another small eating area. 

The property listing mentions it's been updated with 22 new windows and features a river view from the living room.

While Tina is already familiar with the prime Upper West Side location, the listing boasts it's just walking distance to Citarella and Fairway markets without crossing the street.

Tina has been married to 30 Rock musical director Jeff since 2001 and the couple have two daughters Alice Zenobia and Penelope Athena.
