A bit of all white! Cate Blanchett stuns in chic semi sheer blouse and trouser ensemble at AFI Awards luncheon in LA
She will have her time taken up in the next few days as she attends a slew of awards shows.
And Cate Blanchett, was as en pointe as ever with her fashion choices attending the 16th Annual AFI Awards luncheon at The Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills on Friday.
The 46-year-old looked radiant in an all white ensemble, her skin glowing with health at the event.

She wore a semi-sheer blouse which featured layers of ruffles and a spotted design which seemed to have drawn some inspiration from India with its pattern.
She teamed it with a pair of white trousers and a chic smart jacket in the same hue.
Cate wore her hair in a side parting low ponytail.

The Carol actress posed up alongside her co-star Rooney Mara. who went for a look in contrasting darker shades.

Her ensemble featured a cropped jumper which showed off a sliver of midriff, which was teamed with a black skirt.

She went for a plum coloured lipstick and finished the look with a pair of black heels.
Carol has been recognised by the AFI at the awards this year - it's a romantic drama which is based on the novel The Price of Salt.
The two women will be going head to head in the Best Actress category at the Golden Globes on Sunday, along with Brie Larson for Room, Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn and Alicia Vikander for The Danish Girl.

Gazzale quipped that the luncheon ceremony is "the only event of its kind: where you do not have to buy a seat to be honored."
Award shows such as Sunday's Golden Globes charge guests hundreds of dollars for admission to the celebration, a cost typically absorbed by studios and networks.
