She's one of Australia's most successful fashion exports, but Miranda Kerr isn't afraid to see the lighter sides of what can be a serious industry sometimes. 

Sitting down with luxury retailer Net-A-Porter to support her cover shoot for the online store's digital magazine The Edit, the 32-year-old performed a plank in a $7,411 Marc Jacobs dress.

The supermodel also showed her patriotic spirit by chanting the 'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie' war cry, and went on to explain how to do a Tim Tam Slam in the laid back video interview.

Miranda didn't hesitate for a second when asked on camera if she could demonstrate a plank.  

As an avid yoga enthusiast, the former David Jones ambassador showed off her core strength by holding the position for a number of seconds while still dressed in her PVC-trimmed designer frock.

She was also wearing a pair of gold fringed Gucci pumps, which are priced at $925 which she didn't remove before limbering up on the exercise matt.

'Any time of the day, any ridiculous outfit,' she joked as she turned to her side and put one arm up in the air for a side plank.

'This is real yoga attire!'

The KORA Organics founder's hair styled in a slicked ballerina bun with a middle part that kept her long locks away from her face.

Her makeup meanwhile, was subtle and luminous, showing off her natural beauty and her trademark dimples as she giggled.

Resuming her place after the yoga demonstration, Gunnedah raised Miranda went on to take part in an 'Aussie Challenge'.

She is heard chanting: 'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi,' which is a staple at any international sporting event where Australia is competing, in the video.

Explaining a Tim Tam Slam, she then said: 'You put the Tim Tam in the cup of tea and you slam it in your mouth.' 

Some would argue however, that it's the process of using the iconic biscuit as a straw to drink a hot beverage through.

She also said that an Australian's favourite meal of the day was 'breaky [slang for breakfast]: Vegemite on toast, mate,' with a exaggerated accent.

Miranda attributed her enthusiastic energy to a coffee she had drunk before the interview, stating: 'It's the coffee that got me all wound up! I don't normally drink coffee!'
