Queues return to Triads as Kanye West designed Adidas Yeezy Boost trainers go on sale

The launch of the 'tan' version of Kanye designed trainers has seen the return of trainer fans queuing outside the Linthorpe Road store

They’re back again.

Dozens of diehards are queuing outside Triads in Middlesbrough to get their hands on a limited edition pair of trainers.

The Adidas Yeezy Boost go on sale on Tuesday morning, and trainer fans have been queuing since around 2am on Monday for a chance to buy a pair.

The latest edition of the shoe, designed in collaboration with Kanye West, is being sold in a ‘tan’ colour.

A black version of the trainer went on sale in August, with the silver edition released in November.

On both occasions, fans queued for days to buy them.

And around 30 people are braving the winter weather.

Triads is one of only a handful of independent retailers nationwide that sell them.

Garry Donaldson, co-owner of Triads, said: “It’s good for Middlesbrough and good for the area that they’re on sale here. People are always queuing up for them.”

The shoes will go on sale on a first come first served basis when the store opens on Tuesday.
