He allegedly defied Madonna's wishes to spend Christmas with his father.

So it's perhaps unsurprising that Rocco Ritchie was spotted enjoying a relaxed day out with doting dad Guy Ritchie on Saturday.

The pair were seen cycling throughout West London in matching styles as they indulged in some much-needed down-time. But while the father and son bonded, Madonna shared a scathing Instagram post, defending her parenting skills.

Clearly off-duty, the pair - who seem to be very close - wore matching white tracksuit bottoms and black jackets as they returned home following their mini expedition.

Looking strikingly similar to his film-maker parent, Rocco bore an uncanny resemblance to the movie maker, whose films include Snatch and Layer Cake.  

Appearing slightly unsteady on his bike, Rocco seemed unimpressed with the rain - which surely came as an unwelcome addition to their outing.

Rocco clutched onto his mobile phone as he navigated the wet pavements on his bike.

The sighting comes after recent personal struggles with his mother Madonna - after Rocco sensationally quit her Rebel Hearts tour and fled to London to be with his dad.

The youngster is said to have fallen out with the singer - who is in the middle of a custody battle for the teen - after she confiscated his mobile phone. 

A source told Mirror Online: 'Madonna is quite firm with Rocco and she took his phone from him when it interfered with his studies.

'She is stricter than Guy and Rocco doesn't like it. When she took the phone away, it pushed him over the edge.'

As Guy and Rocco spent time together in London, Madonna shared a fiery post on her Instagram page on Saturday.

The singer shared a sweet family snap on her page, showing the star cosying up with her four children Lourdes, Mercy, David and 15-year-old Rocco.  

Rocco and his mother are seated side by side in the snap, with Madonna including a thinly veiled message in the caption. 

'Its possible to be an entertainer and a good mother!!! Too bad we don't live in a society where many encourage strong independent single working moms! The next great Frontier! ❤️#revolutionoflove continues ❤️#rebelheart4ever,' she wrote.

In December, the singer's son allegedly refused to return back to America after leaving Madonna's concert tour.

The teenager went to London to be with his father and has yet to return. He even blocked his mother from Instagram before deleting his account, which had more than 138,000 followers.

Rocco is said to have claimed he would have a more 'stable and loving' home life with Guy, who lives with his wife Jacqui and their three children, Rafael, four, Rivka, three, and Levi, 18 months. 

Because of Rocco's strong views, Guy is said to have hired a lawyer and is preparing for a legal battle to keep custody of his son.

A source revealed to People that Madonna was not going to give up on her son. 

'She is going to fight, fight, fight, and she is going to fight to the end,' citing that the singer 'is an excellent mother.'

According to the site, the former couple are due for a second court appearance in February.  

Meanwhile, Guy was typically handsome as he cycled along the pavement outside his Mayfair home.

They were later joined by Guy's new wife Jacqui Ainsley as they headed off on their day out.

She glammed it up with a furry collar and kept her brunette hair under a matching navy blue flat-cap.

The mother-of-three showed off her natural beauty in her casual get-up, and wore minimal make-up -  just a touch of blush and mascara to complete her off-duty look.

Guy wed Jacqui in a star-studded ceremony last year, with good pals Brad Pitt and David Beckham in attendance.

The couple have three children together, son Rafael, four, daughter Rivka, and one-year-old son Levi.

Opening up? On Wednesday, Madonna, 57, appeared to have alluded to her custody struggles during an impromptu speech at her concert in Mexico

The latest sighting comes just days after 57-year-old singer Madonna alluded to personal struggles during an impromptu speech at her Wednesday night concert in Mexico.

Specifically, her custody over Rocco - who refuses to return to her care over allegations she's too strict with him.

The battle begin in December when the 15 year-old refused to return to New York despite a Manhattan judge's court order. 

During her concert in Mexico, Madonna paused for a brief second to address the crowd.

Before she delivered her speech, the crowd can be hear chanting her name and applauding the star in a video that appeared on YouTube.com.

'We all go through challenging times in our life, and that includes me. I, too, go through challenging times in my life, and right now is one of them,' she began.

The singer discussed the exhaustion she sometimes feels when it's time to perform.

'Sometimes I think I can't do a show. I don't have the energy, I don't have the strength. I come out here tonight and I can see your faces, and I look into your eyes and I see so much love and it gives me strength.'

Although she did not directly mention her personal situation,  she did feel the need to speak, before she concluded with a message of gratitude. 

'So thank you. You are rebel hearts. I feel your hearts beating with mine,' she finished. 

Meanwhile, a source told People that Madonna is bracing for a bitter custody battle of son Rocco.

'She is going to fight, fight, fight, and she is going to fight to the end,' a friend told the publication, adding: 'She is not happy. She is an excellent mother, and people can say whatever they want – but her children mean the world to her.'
