The newly released audio from 911 calls that Olympic gold-medalist Picabo Street (left and center inset) placed during an altercation with her father reveal new details surrounding the incident that resulted in her arrest and charges for assault and domestic violence. Street allegedly pushed her 76-year-old father, Ronald Street (right), down two flights of stairs and locked him in a basement during an argument December 23 in her Park City, Utah home. Police observed that he had cuts and possibly hit his head while falling. She was booked into jail and faces charges for domestic violence and assault and domestic violence in the presence of children.

Rosalind Ross, the girlfriend Gibson brought to Sunday's Golden Globes is not relishing the 'negative attention' caused by her relationship, a friend tells Daily Mail Online. Three people from across America have scooped a share of the record-breaking $1.6billion Powerball lottery on Wednesday night, with the winning numbers 08, 27, 34, 04, 19 and 10 (inset right). The first winner was reported in Chino Hills, California, late last night, with dozens of people gathering at the 7-Eleven (inset left) where the ticket was bought in order to celebrate with clerk Mfaroqui (main) who sold it. Later wins were reported in Tennessee and Florida. Each winner will get $310million, which after federal taxes comes to $187million each. Luckily none of them will have to pay state taxes, as Tennessee, Florida and California don't apply these to lottery wins.

A woman who was convicted of murdering her mother when she was just 15 has given birth. Valessa Robinson made international headlines when she, her boyfriend and a friend took LSD then killed her real estate agent mother Vicki, 49, in their upscale Tampa Bay, Florida, home in 1998.  A jury heard she stabbed her mother twice in the throat and once in the back. Now, little more than two years after being released from jail, the now-32-year-old has been pictured beaming with a child of her own.

Mathew Kenney (pictured), 29, of Santa Cruz, California died on Tuesday while wingsuit-flying among remote cliffs (pictured) on the Arizona-Utah border, authorities said. The Coconino County Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday that it is devising a plan to recover Kenney's body.It is trapped in a crevice about 600 feet below where he jumped Tuesday in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness - a rugged, desolate landscape that is hard to navigate, sheriff's Lt. Ted Cruz has just been endorsed by one of America's most famous families - the Duck Dynasty clan. The Cruz campaign released a video that shows patriarch Phil Robertson describing what he is looking for in a president, and then explaining why Cruz has all those things. The Robertsons agreed to endorse Cruz after he went duck hunting with Phil earlier this week.

The Minnesota Vikings lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday when kicker Blair Walsh missed a field goal in the final moments of the game. Following the disappointing loss, first-grade students at Northpoint Elementary School in Blaine, Minnesota wrote letters of support to Walsh, forgiving him for the goal and encouraging him to do better next time. On Thursday, Walsh visited the students to thank them for the letters, which he said he will cherish forever.

Eddie Mabry (pictured on his initial arrest in April, main, and in a police mugshot, inset) pleaded guilty to years of abuse starting when his victim, who cannot be named, was just 14-years-old. The 52-year-old, who will serve at least six years in jail, would ply the young teenager with drugs and alcohol before sexually abusing him in his Huntersville home, North Carolina, and dance studio, the court heard. On Wednesday, the boy finally got the chance to ask his abuser the one question he had always wanted to understand.

The embarrassing footage, captured in what is believed to be North America, shows the man being restrained with his hands behind his back. The topless man appears to be standing in a hotel reception as the officers carry out their job and pat him down to check for weapons. One officer then moves his gloved hand around to the man's left pocket and appears to grab hold of his penis - mistaking it for a deadly weapon.

Photographer Mihaela Noroc, 30, from Romania, travelled the world for The Atlas of Beauty series, taking pictures of natural-looking women. She hopes to promote diversity and has been to 45 countries including (clockwise from top left) China, Havana in Cuba, New York, Wakhan Corridor in Afghanistan, Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, and Oxford, England. Mihaela told FEMAIL: 'Every day, when we watch mass media we see an atlas of wars, conflicts and fear. People are fighting just because they are different, because they have a different religion, culture or race. More than ever, I think our world needs an Atlas of Beauty to show that diversity is something beautiful, not a reason for conflicts.'

Back in 2014 Kelly Tousley and Curtiss O'Rorke Stedman from Alaska spent $4,750 on a minute portable trailer and transformed it into a cosy roadtripping paradise. It took nine months and an extra $4,000 to transform the plain box into a homely pad fit for the road, complete with solar power generator, a sofa bed, insulated walls and ceiling, a shower and a toilet, cabinets, a kitchen sink and even an Apple Mac computer.

Paula Williams, who lives in Lubbock, Texas, posted the emotional footage to Facebook and explained that her son's puppy Kase went missing from their home about a month ago. She said that the dog was eventually found down the street from where they live - a family had taken him in and kept him warm and fed. Paula decided to record the moment she shared the good news with her son and captured his sheer delight at being reunited with the puppy.

Stephen Lee Nott, originally from Newcastle upon Tyne but now living in Jakarta, Indonesia, purchased the must-have gadget from eBay for £240 ($345). The 32-year-old, who was visiting family in England over the Christmas period, says he charged the hoverboard for around 10 hours before taking it outside for a test ride. The video shows Stephen trialling the gadget for the first time when suddenly it erupts into flames, prompting him to jump out of the way in panic.

The unnamed farmer, from Kerala in south India, stunned onlookers as he pressed the bloated stomach of the 6ft-long python (left) and the animals, taken from a nearby village, popped out (centre). Footage shows him holding the giant snake between his legs before trying to unravel its coiling body. At one point, the man - who is wearing flip flops and jeans - even holds the python's mouth as he pulls out the head of the baby goat (right), which had sadly already died.

The incident was captured on CCTV outside an office in Toledo, Parana, Brazil and shows the happy-go-lucky youngster running towards a large advertising board. He leaps into the air in order to hurl himself through the gap in the structure before slamming into the pane of glass and smashing it into a million pieces. The clip concludes with the youngster fleeing the scene while holding his forehead.

Pet owners from around the world have been celebrating Dress up your Pet day for the last seven years - and 2015 has been no exception. Heartwarming footage shows the bears - many of which were previously forced to perform on the streets - lolloping along a small tarmac path as the delivery driver makes their way into the centre in Agra, India. The worker shooting the video can be heard laughing as more and more bears join the excited furry group. Nearly 800 people have 'liked' the video and it has been shared nearly 200 times.

Tarmo Tolvanen made the decision to try and rescue the animal after discovering it on the icy surface of Lake Saimaa in Finland. The Saimaa ringed seal, which is an endangered species, had been stuck on the bank of the lake for days and appeared to quickly realise what the fisherman was doing. Footage shows Mr Tolvanen carefully walking over the ice before using a chainsaw to cut a square in the ice (left). The seal can then be seen shuffling over (top right) and poking its nose into the freezing water before finally taking the plunge (bottom right).
