Kevin Hart reveals his son Hendrix will serve as his best man at his upcoming wedding

When this star walks down the aisle for the second time he wants his best friend by his side.

Kevin Hart has revealed his eight-year-old son Hendrix will be his best man when he ties the knot on August 8.

The 36-year-old told the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, about his upcoming nuptials to model Eniko Parrish which will both be a family and star-studded affair.

While Howard pushed to know who was coming, the comedian refused to name names except letting slip Justin Bieber would be there.

The star said of August 8 nuptial: 'I cant disclose all that information [referring to the guest list]. I got a lot nice friends, [so it is] very top secret, very private. It's going to be a good time.'

The Rude Along 2 star's wedding is set to have some big name musical acts, but he was staying mom on that too aside from saying, 'we got some good tricks up our sleeves'.

But when it came to talking about his son's role, the funnyman did not hold back.

When asked who is best man by the radio host, Kevin said: 'My son is my best friend, aged 8. My son will definitely be my best man.'

His relationship with his son is in stark contrast with the one he had with his own father, he also revealed on Tuesday.

The funnyman explained: 'The way I look at it now, I'm such a great father because I don’t want to make the mistakes that my dad made.'

He has a ten-year-old daughter Heaven and eight-year-old son Hendrix with his ex wife Torrei Hart. The couple split in 2011 after eight years of marriage.

As Kevin has been open about the vices of his father, Henry Robert Witherspoon, in his stand-up comedy before and the 62-year-old radio host queried him on his life growing up in that environment.

The funnyman was raised in Philadelphia by his mother Nancy Hart, who worked at the University of Pennsylvania, and despite dealing with his father's struggles he insists: 'I wouldn't change it one bit.'

The two even discussed one of Kevin's old stories that his father's addiction reached a point where he stole $20 his son had received for his birthday.

Kevin shared that his dad's habit did not just involve one drug but several including heroine, coke and crack.

Despite the rough childhood, Kevin has had a good attitude when it comes to life as he explained: 'You can find a positive in every negative, or you can treat every negative with a negative response.'

He added: 'If my dad hadn't been around and didn't do drugs, I may be handling my success differently.'

Howard even commended the Ride Along star for his positive mental attitude as he still has a relationship with his father and even bought him a house.

'My dad's fine now,' Kevin said. 'I never lost touch, that's my dad. I don't give a s--- about his mistakes.' 

Kevin is also teamed up with Ice Cube again for sequel Ride Along 2, which is set to hit theatres in the US this Friday with a UK release following on January 22.
