Emma Roberts ventured out in monochromatic style on Thursday while shopping at a bookstore in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actress wore a plain grey shift dress over a long-sleeved black sweater along with black leggings.

The Scream Queens star polished off her ensemble with shiny black leather flats and large round black sunglasses.

Bag of books: Emma Roberts went to a bookstore in Los Angeles on Thursday in a monochromatic outfit

Emma had her short blonde hair down while carrying brown bags from Chevalier's Books in the Larchmont area.

The niece of actress Julia Roberts later caught up with her on-again actor boyfriend Evan Peters, 28.

Evan kept it casual in a striped Henley shirt, green cardigan, brown trousers and clunky boots.

Simple style: The actress kept it simple in a shift dress over a black sweater and leggings

Hollywood star: Emma recently starred in the Fox series Scream Queens and has film projects in the works

Famous family: The blonde beauty is the niece of Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts

Emma and Evan called off their engagement in June but recently they have been spotted spending time together around Los Angeles.

The couple started dating in 2012 and had a stormy relationship, including Emma's arrest in 2013 for alleged domestic abuse at a hotel in Montreal, Canada.

They both were featured performers in the FX series American Horror Story at the time of the incident and Emma was released after Evan declined to press charges.

Emma showcased her acting range portraying egotistical sorority president Chanel Oberlin in the series co-created by Ryan Murphy who also co-created American Horror Story.
