Almost too late to say sorry! Justin Bieber narrowly misses getting run over by a pack of cyclists as he takes himself on a solo stroll

He was once known for driving too fast and being a danger on Los Angeles' highways, but this time he was not the one with a need for speed.

Justin Bieber came close to be being celebrity roadkill in Malibu, California, on Wednesday after he wandered out in front of a pack of professional cyclists.

Cyclist Sean Weide told TMZ that the pack of 16 were headed along the famed Pacific Coast Highway when the 21-year-old stepped out of nowhere forcing them to serve to avoid hitting him.

The group was doing around 25 MPH when the star 'popped out in the street flailing his arms' and they missed him by less than 2 feet

Weide said the near accident made the group made at first but they quickly realized who Justin was and got star struck.

Clearly feeling a little bad for nearly causing a massive pile up and in good spirits for not being run over, the Sorry singer posed for pictures with the group, who are from the Axeon Hagens Berman Cycling Team.

Proving their Justin sighting, the development team posted the snap to their Facebook page showing them standing behind the star at a far safer location of a gas station.

One young cyclist even whipped out his phone and got a video with the star.

In the video, Krists Neilands says something in his native Latvian before saying 'Hey Justin', to which the singer replies, 'What's up Dude?'
