The queen of lean! Millie Mackintosh flaunts her toned curves and tiny waistline in a red crochet bikini as she enjoys Maldives getaway

She's become a face for health and fitness, and has made it the focus of her career since leaving Made In Chelsea.

And, even when not working, Millie Mackintosh makes sure she's still an advocate for her lifestyle, as she proved in her latest holiday snaps. 

The stunning 26-year-old shared some eye-catching bikini pictures on her oft-used Instagram page on Tuesday from her holiday in the Maldives.

And, while the weather may not have been as idyllic as she would have hoped for during her stay at Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa, the former reality TV star made the most of her location, rocking a scant red crochet bikini.

Posing in the midst of a downpour, she looked sensational as she showed off the results of her strenuous fitness regime, healthy diet and good genes in the swimwear, which included a crop-top and skimpy briefs.

With her flat, toned abs on display and her lean thighs - as well as a set of lithe arm muscles - she smiled at the camera as she asked alongside the snap, jokingly: 'You can still tan when it's raining right?'

Another shot from her holiday album included one of her on a bicycle about to take a ride over a small bridge.

But, as well as the lush greenery around her, it was her small and shapely derriere that caught the eye, no thanks down to plenty of squats.

'Morning commute,' she added as the caption to her 1.2m followers.

In recent days, the beautiful star - who is staying at the luxurious Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa -  has been keeping her fans up to date with her island getaway antics since arriving there on Monday.

On the first day of her winter vacation - on which she appears to be accompanied by friends, but not husband Professor Green - she shared a gorgeous snap of herself in front of the azure sea, showing off her enviable legs in a tiny crochet playsuit.

And she appears to have thought long and hard about her holiday wardrobe, going for an ethereal, boho-chic vibe for her time in the Maldives, as another snapshot showed her swishing a gypsy skirt around her legs against yet another beautiful backdrop.

Although there was another downpour, Millie didn't let it dampen her spirits as she added that she was 'Dancing in the rain'.

An additional shot showed the ex-Made In Chelsea star posing with her pal Hannah Smith as they looked out to sea, Millie rocking the floaty skirt and racy backless top from before.

Her collection of snaps are expected to come thick and fast for the next few days while she enjoys her glorious getaway in the exotic island, with more shots of her meticulously gym-honed body.

Since the Christmas blow-out, Millie has been firmly back on the fitness hype, and didn't wait long to get her healthy regime on track once again, and it shows.

Meanwhile, Millie recently opened up about to Cosmopolitan magazine about her marriage to her Need You Tonight hit maker beau, insisting that while they are both from 'different backgrounds' they are more suited to one another than people think.

'We are from different backgrounds and I can never pretend that I understand what he's been through in his life, but it's ridiculous to think that people from different backgrounds can't be together,' she confessed.

And while the fitness enthusiast herself belongs to a more privileged background, she continues to protest that her upbringing doesn't define her.

'I'm proud of my family's history but I'm not an heiress, and I won't stop correcting people because, while I had an amazing upbringing, I haven't been given my business and there was never an option to be supported through life,' Millie explained.
