She fights zombies in her new mashup film Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.

And Lily James looked, appropriately, drop dead gorgeous at the film's premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 26-year-old actress flaunted a sultry physique in a sheer gown at the movie's debut alongside her boyfriend and co-star, Matt Smith.

She made sure to stand out from the crowd in the low-cut flowing dress which revealed a bit of cleavage.

The Cinderella stunner wore her wavy dark blonde locks down and finished her look with a bold red lip for some added drama.

It's easy to see why English rose Lily James excels in dramas like Downton Abbey or War and Peace. But since her new movie Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a twist on a classic, this pretty dress was the perfect choice for the premiere!

The horror/romance spoof is a parody of the 1813 British novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Pride, Prejudice and Zombies is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith and transforms Austen's most famous heroine Elizabeth Bennet into a master of martial arts and weaponry.

When a plague falls upon 19th century England, she unites with Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) to rid the country of the terrifying zombie menace.

Lily has admitted that she wasn't exactly impressed when she first read the script, telling Marie Claire: 'When I saw the e-mail from my agent, I was like, This sounds terrible! Then within 20 pages of the script, I thought, This is so cool!

The actress also confessed that working with boyfriend Matt, who plays Lizzie's suitor Mr Collins, was a dream.

She enthused: 'He just made me laugh all the time. I actually loved being able to talk about work.'
