This shocking photograph shows how one skier wanted to get as close to the action as possible - by parking his car on the slopes.

Although it was certainly beneficial for the driver, it provoked an angry reaction from fellow skiers whose paths were blocked by the motor.

'Get this guy to move his car,' was a cry which echoed through the mountains as frustrated skiers found their way blocked.

A picture of the car was uploaded online and it quickly spread through multiple social media networks, where many voiced their frustration at the driver.

One user called tonka-krumpir said: 'This sounds like something that would happen in Croatia.'

While another, whose username is kootscheepers, added: 'Why is Clarkson in Croatia again?'

It also seems that some had more to say about the value of the vehicle than the character of the driver, with a drvanos describing the BMW as 'worthless'.

It is not clear how the ski trail blockade ended or if local police were involved.

The resort is one of the most popular in Croatia and draws tourists from all over Europe as well as large numbers of locals.
