No so fast! Newly engaged Mariah Carey and James Packer are both still married to their exes

Her billionaire beau slipped a 35-carat diamond ring worth an estimated $7.5 million on her finger on Thursday.

But Mariah Carey and James Packer have a couple of matters to attend to before they tie the knot - neither of them are divorced, according to TMZ.

The 45-year-old superstar singer is still married to Nick Cannon while the 47-year-old Australian casino owner is hitched to his ex, singer Erica Packer.

Even though Mariah and Nick, 35, had a prenup, they are still settling the last financial issues following their August 2014 split, according to the website.     

Nick filed for divorce in December 2015 after six years of marriage and the pair are now said to be on good terms as they continue to co-parent their four-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. 

James and Erica separated in 2013 after tying the knot in 2007.

The couple share three children, daughters Emmanuelle, three, and Indigo, seven,  and son Jackson, who turns six next month. 

Erica has moved on as well and is currently dating Seal, Heidi Klum's ex. But the laws in Australia have apparently slowed the divorce down.

Meanwhile, Nick couldn't resist posting a silly Instagram on Friday in the wake of Mariah's engagement to the billionaire.

The 35-year-old host of America's Got Talent was seen in a hospital bed with his eyes closed as though prostrate with heartsickness, as his pal Kevin Hart hovered over him with a worried expression.

'Ha! This made me laugh out loud for real!!! HILARIOUS! #AllLove,' Nick wrote alongside the humourous snap.

He added: 'Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union... #GreatPeople #GreatCouple.'
