Unimpressed movie-goers walk-out of Sundance screening for Daniel Radcliffe's 'bizarre' new film which features corpses passing gas
He is certainly a box office draw.
But it appears that Daniel Radcliffe's latest cinematic offering may not be such a surefire success, if the initial reaction of audiences is anything to go by.
According to a report in Variety, the film - Swiss Army Man - proved to be a divisive feature of Friday's Sundance Film Festival in Utah, where it attracted crowds but failed to retain them.

It claims that 'the Eccles Theater had to turn away hundreds of movie fans, and even a few industry VIPs, at the packed premiere.
'But the bizarre fable about a lost man (Paul Dano) who befriends a farting corpse (Radcliffe) could win the festival’s award for the most walk-outs, as a continuous stream of audience members kept standing up and bolting for the door throughout the film.

'The people who walked out of Swiss Army Man didn't get it,' tweeted Alex Billingham. 'Takes about 20 minutes until you figure it out. If you don't think, seems stupid.'
Likewise, Steven Weintraub added: 'SWISS ARMY MAN is definitely not for everyone. But great performances by Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe make it worth seeing.'
Others were less diplomatic. Chris Nashawaty said: 'If [Michel] Gondry directed a castaway version of Weekend At Bernie's it might come close to the strangely confounding Swiss Army Man.'

Filmed in the redwoods of Humboldt County, the indie flick - directed by Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan - has also received a lukewarm response on IMDB.
There, 12 users gave it an average score of 5.3 out of 10.
Meanwhile a host of stars were seen strolling around in Park City as the festival got underway.
They included Elvis Presley's actress granddaughter Riley Keough, Danny DeVito, Chelsea Handler, Adrian Grenier and pop heartthob Nick Jonas among others.
