The 17-year-old, who is famed for her roles in Maleficent and Super 8, cut a relaxed and content figure as she left a local gym in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

Trying to keep a low-profile, the actress appeared fresh-faced as she showcased her natural glow by going make-up free.

The teenager looked like she was ready for some sleep as she left the celebrity hot spot with her How to Talk to Girls at Parties co-star, Alex Sharp.

Her tousled blonde mane fell in loose waves across her face and concealed one eye, which she could hardly keep open at times.

Sharp, 26, and the We Bought A Zoo starlet just finished shooting their film which is slated for release in February.

Elle stars as Zan, an alien touring the galaxy who breaks away from her group to pursue true love with Enn, played by Alex.

The award-winning actress has also been shooting on the Hollywood set of Live By Night, a 1920s period film.

Affleck plays Joe Coughlin, the prodigal son of a Boston police captain who becomes a bootlegger and a rum-runner eventual gangster.
