'Everyone has their claws out!' Real Housewives Of Melbourne's Gamble Breaux says filming is getting catty as producers decide who will be permanent cast members

Already things are heating up on set of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, series three.

The stars of the show have been told their future on the series is in jeopardy with producers yet to decide who will be on board permanently- even though shooting is underway.

It will mean the cast will be judged on their performance as they film, with Gamble Breaux telling the Herald Sun: 'Everyone has their claws out, and there is a lot of tension because someone is not going to get through.'

Season two of the show starred Chyka Keebaugh, Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Lydia Schiavello, Pettifleur Berenger, Janet Roach and Gamble.

Rumours had stirred recently a new Housewife was joining the cast, and the newspaper reports Susie McLean is the newcomer.

Gamble, talking to the publication in Melbourne at the Rachel Zoe Icons of Style event this week, further said things are heading to a blow on set as they wait anxiously to hear what the producers decide.

'So the tension between the girls is really electric and real, because someone feels they are going to lose their job,' she added.

Filming for the series only just begun for the Foxtel show on July 27.

Gamble and Pettifleur appeared on the show on series two after former housewife Andrea Moss left the show after season one.

Janet also left the show on season two, but returned shortly after.

Gina, who is returning for the upcoming season, in recent weeks has spent time filming for The Celebrity Apprentice, Australia.

Back in April, it was revealed new additions to the cast would be made, but whether or not they would replace the current stars was yet to be determined.

The Daily Telegraph got hold of an email of producers, which read: 'We're not sure whether we'll replace any of our current Housewives at this stage.'

'Really keen to meet with some new ladies, just in case,' it said.
