Rihanna has confirmed that Kanye West is no longer involved as executive producer on her new album Anti.

In a Twitter exchange with a fan, RiRi wrote: 'FYI Kanye is not EPing Anti!!! We’re both working on our own projects right now!'

The Twitter user shared a screenshot of the exchange on a Rihanna fan Instagram account.

In black and white: The 27-year-old singer revealed the news during a Twitter exchange with a fan, who then shared a screenshot of the tweets on a fan Instagram account

Too much going on: Rihanna said that Kanye, who had told Ryan Seacrest at the 2015 Grammys that he would the EP on Rihanna's album, is busy working on his own projects. The rapper is pictured in LA on January 16

Kanye, of course, has been busy working on his own new album Swish, due for release next month, as well as on his Yeezy fashion line.

Back in February, he had announced during an interview with Ryan Seacrest at the 2015 Grammys in LA that he would be serving as executive producer on the Barbadian beauty's eighth studio album, Vibe.com reported.

The rapper, who's married to Kim Kardashian, has produced two of Anti’s singles - FourFiveSeconds and B**ch Better Have My Money.

Meanwhile, Rihanna starts her Anti World Tour on February 26 in San Diego, California, and so it's a pretty safe bet that the album will hit the street at about the same time.

The 27-year-old Diamonds singer made headlines this past week when she was spotted kissing Leonardo DiCaprio while enjoying a night out at a Paris nightclub.

However, the images have yet to be published after The Revenant star used French privacy law to stop them being made public.

Rihanna was in the French capital for Fashion Week Men's in Paris and on Saturday was spotted arriving at Charles De Gaulle Airport to catch a flight back to the U.S.
