She's a tangerine dream! Rose McGowan looks opulent in orange scarf as she attends women filmmakers' event at Sundance

It was a look that was sure to provoke an orange crush among fellow attendees.

For Rose McGowan looked fantastic after posing in a tangerine scarf at a women filmmakers' event at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday.

The saucy Charmed starlet, who claims to have quit acting, seemed to have a great time causing a stir as she hammed it up on the red carpet at the Park City, Utah bash.

The 42-year-old, who was clearly having a ball as she hosted the Tangerine Entertainment Celebrates Women Filmmakers event, looked great for her age in a black pullover, which boasted yellow stripes on the back, skinny jeans and trainers.

And later she was involved in a meeting of great minds when she bumped into fellow beauty Lena Dunham at the Planned Parenthood Sex, Politics And Film Cocktail Reception .

Meanwhile, Rose recently hinted that she had quit her acting career after becoming seemingly discontent with the Hollywood establishment.

In a post in November she railed against the lack of creativity in Hollywood, and stated 'f*** the status quo. Honestly, it got so boring in front of the camera I had to quit.'

While it's unclear whether she has truly given up on acting, it is confirmed that she is trying to pursue a directing career.

Rose recently hit headlines for criticising Caitlyn Jenner in an open letter on Facebook - which has since been deleted - after the transgender reality star joked that the 'hardest part about being a woman is figuring out what to wear'.

The infuriated actress, who famously posed nude on the cover of Rolling Stone alongside Rosario Dawson, said: 'We are more than deciding what to wear.

'We are more than the stereotypes foisted upon us by people like you.

'You’re a woman now?' Rose continued. 'Well f***ing learn that we have had a VERY different experience than your life of male privilege.'
