Showing off a shiny new ring is surely one of the highlights of an engagement.

And Skylar Astin is happily joining in the fun, after his fiancée Anna Camp presented him with a silver band on Friday.

Bucking tradition, the 33-year-old decided to mark their engagement by giving her fiancé a ring to match the sparkling diamond he had proposed with.

And Skylar, 28, was delighted. The actor captioned a picture: 'It always felt odd to me that men didn't get engagement rings. Thankfully, my fiancé thought so too.'

The Flock Of Dudes actor shared a photo of his silver braided ring to his 901,000 followers on Instagram.

It cam two weeks after Anna celebrated her engagement to her Pitch Perfect co-star, sharing a snap with Skylar while holding her hand up to show off her sparkling diamond ring.

He proposed while they vacationed in Hawaii.

The True Blood star, who sported a thrilled expression mirroring Skylar's, captioned the picture: 'He asked. I said YES!' 

He also shared the same photo, writing: 'I asked. She said yes!!!'

In the snap, Anna sported black cat eyes sunglasses and a teal halter top while rocking a makeup free face and a high bun.

Skylar donned a similar hued Henley shirt with matching sunglasses while leaning his head onto his love.

Last week, Anna shared a close up of her dazzling ring to her 555,000 followers on Instagram, adding that she's 'still on cloud 9.'

The lovebirds, who met on the set of their 2012 film Pitch Perfect, have been in a relationship since July 2013.

Skylar plays Jesse Swanson in the franchise, while Anna plays Aubrey Posen.

Both actors starred in the first Pitch Perfect film as well as the sequel, which was released earlier this year. 

Over the summer, Anna gushed about her love to E! News: 'We're really best friends, so it's awesome. He's definitely sweet like this character is.'

Adding: 'The funny thing is, is that we never ever have any scenes together. So, yeah, it was great. We had a great time when we saw each other on set. It was awesome.' 

She was previously married to Scrubs actor Michael Mosley from 2010 until 2013.
