But when fiery Shirley (Linda Henry) is asked to take part in the memorial, she refuses to join the rest of the family.

Tina is left turning to Mick (Danny Dyer) to help change her mind, and she hopes they might be able to put their tensions aside, for Stan's sake, even if it's just for one day.

But it turns out Tina's plans may do more harm than good for the friction between the two.

Shirley later turns up at the Queen Vic to try and take Stan's ashes, wanting them for herself.

During the scuffle that follows, the urn falls to the pub floor, and everyone is stunned to find the contents, which have now spilled out, aren't the ashes at all.

The penny soon drops, and the family work out who is responsible for taking them.

Mick, Tina and Shirley all decide to visit Aunt Babe to confront her over the missing remains.

And with Babe now living in Ramsgate in Kent, the Carters set off, ready for an almighty family feud.

EastEnders airs these scenes on BBC One on Tuesday September 1st, at 7.30pm.
