'I'm pretty sure we're still married!' The WIFE of Ronda Rousey's 'fiance' Travis Browne reminds the world of fighter's relationship status and alleged domestic violence past

While these loved up UFC stars are on cloud nine with reports they are set to head down the aisle, reality may be about to deliver a harsh blow.

As news broke that Ronda Rousey and boyfriend Travis Browne may be engaged, not everyone was celebrating.

This is because while the 27-year-old has a new sparkling diamond ring on her finger, she is not the only one sporting an important piece of jewellery from the Hawaiian heavyweight.

Late Saturday night, eagle eyed viewers spotted the unusual rectangular diamond ring on Ronda's finger as she performed on SNL, as did Travis' estranged wife Jenna Renee Webb - and she was far from pleased.

The fitness model took to her social media and re-posted a picture of Ronda where her ring is visible.

On the image, taken from Saturday Night Live, it said: 'Is Ronda Rousey wearing a promise ring? As in ''I promise not to hit you like my current wife'' ring?'

Jenna Renee, who accused the UFC fighter of assaulting her in July promoting her to leave him, first congratulated the pair on being open about their relationship, but issued a warning to Ronda that she too could be the target of domestic violence.

She also reminded the world she and Travis, 33, are still married.

The model captioned the image: 'Kudos to the people with a strong enough backbone to take ownership of the decisions they make, wether [sic] good or bad, mistakes or not -- who don't try to cover their tracks by changing their story to please society.

Travis has denied he was ever physical towards his wife and a UFC commissioned third-party investigation cleared him. There has been no police investigation.

However, the fact that Travis is still married did not seem to be getting the couple down on Saturday night.

After Ronda wrapped her SNL performance, which many critics praised, she was spotted heading out in the New York snow storm with her beau.

While neither have confirmed if they are indeed engaged, the certainty seemed very much in love as Travis helped his love over a snow bank.

Ronda kept her ring under wraps as they made their way to the car however, as she was wearing a pair of leather gloves.

The Sports Illustrated star kept warm in a heavy black coat, grey jeans with black patches and a scarf and kept the snow out by wearing rain boots.

It has never been clear when Ronda and Travis started dating, with Travis only confirming their relationship last October saying they had been dating since the summer - which was around the same time his wife claimed she was assaulted.

He told the MMA Hour their relationship was more than just dating: 'Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the s**t that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together.

'She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There’s no dating. We’re together.'
