She's had a successful career over the years and has picked up countless honours and awards.

And on Saturday, Olivia Newton-John was named the Nevada Ballet Theatre's 2016 Woman of the Year at the 32nd Black and White Ball in Las Vegas.

Joining the 67-year-old to celebrate the special accolade was her doting husband John Easterling, with the pair putting on an affectionate display on the red carpet.

Olivia - who is known for her iconic role in the 1978 American hit film Grease - looked delighted to be at the event with her man by her side.

Wearing a black strapless full length gown, she teamed the look with a purple shawl to cover her shoulders and fringed high-heeled boots.

The blonde singer and actress carried a grey clutch and accessorised with a diamond necklace and drop earrings.

She kept her make-up simple, with pink lipstick on her pout and lashings of mascara on her lashes.

Her locks meanwhile were kept out and over her shoulders and neatly straightened.

John meanwhile looked dapper in a black suit with a white shirt and black bow tie. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he posed with his wife of seven years.

The pair were joined during the evening by the likes of American singer and personality Marie Osmond, 56.

Olivia has spent plenty of time in Vegas of late, thanks to her concert residency.

The Australian star is the proud mother of daughter Chloe Lattanzi, 29, who is a budding actress and singer.

Earlier this month, Chloe made headlines after she shared a picture of her father Matt Lattanzi, 57, lying on a bed with a series of assault rifles on Instagram.

She shared the bizarre photograph to campaign for the use of guns 'for fun' and used the opportunity to voice her views on gun control.

The blonde described the weapons as 'beautiful' and claimed her family used them only to shoot at 'empty cans and logs' in Portland, Oregon, where her father lives.
