How many sins and counting?: Josh Duggar's secret Facebook account reveals friend list that includes female bar workers, a lingerie photographer and a stripper

  • The same email Josh Duggar used to sign up for Ashley Madison was used to make a phony Facebook account
  • The account for 'Joe Smithson' has just 32 friends, who are mostly women and include lingerie models and strippers
  • Most of the women are based in Arkansas, where Duggar lived before moving to Washington D.C. for work

Disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar not only looked for an extramarital affair on the website Ashley Madison, but also allegedly created a phony Facebook account to connect with strippers and lingerie models all while working for a lobby that preached Christian morals.

Duggar was revealed as one of the thousands of Ashley Madison users in a list of emails released by hackers this week.

The same email that the married father-of-four used to sign up for the site was also used to create a Facebook profile for a man named 'Joe Smithson,' Radar revealed.

The so-called Smithson has only 32 friends, but nearly all of them are women - including scantily-clad strippers and lingerie models - in Arkansas, where Duggar lived before moving to Washington D.C. to work in politics.

'Smithson's' profile was active as recently as January 2014, and appears to have been started in 2004, four years before Duggar married his wife Anna.

It says that Smithson is a graduate of the University of Arkansas who is living in Fayetteville.

The profile has just one picture on it, depicting Jonathan Blankfein, the son of Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein. Blankfein is a Harvard graduate and has never lived in Arkansas while Duggar never attended college.

On Thursday, Duggar admitted to being unfaithful to his wife over the course of their marriage.

In a statement the reality star said: 'I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.

'I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.'

The bombshell statement comes just hours after the troubled 19 Kids and Counting star was named as one of the 37 million cheating spouses to allegedly have Ashley Madison accounts.

Gawker reported that Duggar allegedly had multiple accounts on the cheating website - revealed in a huge hack of the site by a secretive group called 'the Impact Team'.

It is just the latest controversy for the star after he was forced to admit molesting four of his nine sisters as a teen.

Those revelations brought an end to his family's reality TV show.

In his latest statement, Josh doesn't explicitly admit to using Ashley Madison but the timing certainly adds weight to the allegations.

'I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust,' he continues.

'The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, in my heart I had allowed Satan to build a fortress that no one knew about.

'As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose to our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

'I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.'

His parents Jim Bob and Michelle also released a brief statement saying; 'When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken.

'As we continue to place our trust in God we ask for your prayers for Josh, Anna, our grandchildren and our entire family.'

It an odd twist, Josh then began to edit his statement multiple times, and eventually took out the fact that he ever looked at porn, or that it was an addiction.

He also took out an early claim that he had 'allowed Satan to build a fortress that no one knew about'.

A Duggar family insider spoke to People, saying; 'We're all hunkered down over here. It's just a mess, it's a whole mess. We don't even know what the truth is anymore. It's insane.'

Another source said of Josh: 'I would assume he feels like his life is ruined. It will be such a steep and practically impossible climb to come back from this.'

The Ashley Madison account allegedly listed Duggar's full name and address said that he was looking for 'conventional sex, experimenting with sex toys, one-night stands, sharing fantasies, sex talk,' and more.

One of the accounts was closed around the same time it was first reported that Josh, 27, had molested his siblings as a teenager.

While Josh was using these alleged accounts in search of extramarital affairs, he was also working at the Family Research Council.

Among the many initiatives he was involved in with the group were ones that firmly campaigned against equal rights for LGBT Americans, the legalization of same-sex marriages and a woman's right to choose.

In his role as Executive Director of FRC Action, he said in one interview that he was committed to 'taking the message of faith, family and freedom all across America.'

Josh also bragged that his family was the 'epitome of conservative values.'

His opposition to gay marriage while at the FRC was based on his belief that it threatened family values.

'Natural marriage is something that has been clearly defined over the years,' he said at a National Organization for Marriage this past April.

'What's really at stake here is the American family. Marriage is essential to the American family and every single child deserves a mother and a father.'

He then added; 'All of Americans understand that the issue is not going away, so I think what we have to realize is this is only the beginning of a larger discussion, and what’s really at stake here is the American family.'

At that same event he ended his speech by saying; 'I believe strongly, being the oldest of 19 kids and counting that you know marriage is central to the family and every single child deserves a mother and father.

'And I'm sure grateful for my parents and I'm grateful for my wife and we have our fourth child on the way due in July, and I think it's just such a blessing when you see family and you see that you can honor each other.'

He also led a marriage opposition rally in Arkansas for Honor Our Vote last November, saying that the institution of marriage was under attack now that same-sex marriage was becoming legalized around the country.

In February 2014 meanwhile, he protested same-sex marriage while discussing how wonderful his own union was - months after he had allegedly started using Ashley Madison.

'Marriage is between a man and a woman, and I am honored to have been married to my wife for over five years and we have three wonderful children,' said Josh at a Virginia rally.

'As I think about the beauty of marriage and god's design in that and the natural definition of marriage I think about and I'm reminded of all of us people of faith who hold strong and deep convictions in this area. '

Names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, credit card details and detailed sexual fantasies have been leaked.

Hackers from a group called 'the Impact Squad' posted the 9.7 gigabyte file called 'Time's Up!' on the dark web claiming 'cheating dirtbags do not deserve anonymity'.

More than 10,000 users were found to be registered under .gov and .mil email addresses - the official domain names of the American military and government.

Ashley Madison doesn't verify addresses which means many users could have registered using the details of others or with made up contact details.

However, Gawker claims the evidence against Duggar is much more damning than the appearance of an email address.

The site reports: 'Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar, with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary - a home that was consistently on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child - paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February of 2013 until May of 2015.'

They also report that a second account was created in July 2013 'that was linked to his home in Oxon Hill, Maryland.'

Josh, 27, lived at this residence with his wife and children while working for the Family Research Council.

Among the type of woman he was allegedly looking for, the profile said; 'naughty girl, aggressive / take charge girl, high sex drive and creative and adventurous.'

The birthday listed for the first account is February 3, 1988, and the birthday listed for the second account it is March 2, 1988.

Josh's birthday is March 3, 1988.

The second account was reportedly 'paid on a monthly basis until May of 2015.'

Gawker also reported Josh had an active OkCupid account. He allegedly did not use an actual picture of himself.

This all comes just one month after TLC announced they were cancelling 19 Kids and Counting.

JOSH'S DOWNFALL: A TIMELINE

May 21: InTouch releases a police report revealing that Josh Duggar molested multiple underage girls when he was a teenager. Josh responds on Facebook writing; 'Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends.' He also resigns from his position at the Family Research Council.

May 22: TLC announces they are pulling reruns of the Duggar's show 19 Kids and Counting from the air. In the following days multiple sponsors announce they will not advertise on the program.

May 27: InTouch publishes an interview with  the trooper who Jim Bob brought his son to after the incidents who reveals that he was told that the offense only happened once, and not multiple times. He also says that had he known the extent of the offenses he would have filed an official police report.

June 3: Jim Bob and Michelle appear on Fox News and reveal that four of the five victims were their daughters, Josh's sisters. They also threaten to possibly sue over the release of their son's police records.

June 5: Jessa and Jill Duggar appear on Fox News and reveal they were two of the victims of Josh's molestation in an emotional interview, but say they have forgiven their brother.

July 1: One of Josh's molestation victims files a civil suit against him, meaning the family may be forced to testify under oath.

July 16: TLC announces they are cancelling 19 Kids and Counting and will not air the show again.

July 19: Anna Duggar gives birth to her and Josh's fourth child, a daughter Meredith.

August 19: Josh is alleged to have used an Ashley Madison account in search of extramarital affairs.

The show had been in limbo since May after revelations that Josh molested five children including four of his sisters in a bombshell police report.

He was never charged with a crime for the incidents as by the time police learned of the offenses the statue of limitations had passed, and his parents did not notify authorities in an official capacity at any point after learning about their son's actions.

For 10 seasons, it had chronicled the home life of Arkansas couple Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their now-19 children including Josh.

Like Jim Bob and Michelle, Josh and Anna do not believe in birth control, and their children are all 5-years-old or younger.

The couple have four children; Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus and Meredith.

Meredith was born last month.

Like his parents Jim Bob and Michelle, Josh and Anna do not believe in birth control, and their children are all 5-years-old or younger.

Josh and Anna along with his parents Jim Bob and Michelle have not been seen in public since news of this latest scandal broke, though they have been going about their private lives with many members of the family traveling to the wedding of Michaella Bates and Brandon Keilen over the weekend.

The Bates family have their own reality - Bringing Up Bates - that follows their lives.

They too have 19 children and practice the same faith as the Duggars.

Jinger Duggar posted a photo on Facebook of herself driving the family to the wedding over the weekend.

It is not known if Josh and Anna attended with their children.

No one in the family other than Josh, Jim Bob and Michelle have commented on this latest scandal.

And for anyone thinking this may mean the end of Josh and Anna's marriage, a source tells People; 'Anna will not leave him. As with her in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would assume.'

The source then added; 'Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him.

'She is fully and permanently committed to her marriage and her children. And she'll have the support of Jim Bob and Michelle and everyone else in their circle in terms of staying with him and making this work.

'Divorce is not even something that will be discussed.'
