'Heartbroken' Elizabeth Hurley reveals her beloved Bengal cat Mr Mew is missing as she offers 'big reward' for his safe return

She recently enjoyed a new year's getaway to India.

But on arrival back to the UK Elizabeth Hurley was 'heartbroken' and 'devastated' to find out that her beloved Bengal cat Mr Mew has gone missing.

Revealing the news on her various social media accounts, the 50-year-old pleaded with her followers to look out for the feline as she offered a 'big reward' upon his safe return.

Taking to Instagram and Twitter, Hurley shared a picture of herself and Mr Mew as they shared a sweet embrace.

Admitting that the discovery has left her 'heartbroken', she wrote alongside the image: 'My beautiful Mr Mew is missing. He's a small Bengal and very friendly. 

Elizabeth continued: 'My son and I are devastated. We live near Donnington in Herefordshire.'

Thanking her fans in advance for their support, the mother-of-one added that a reward is up for grabs granted Mr Mew's homecoming.

She added on Twitter: 'Please look out for him if you live locally. Big reward for his safe return'.

Meanwhile, Hurley, who is single, told You Magazine that she is eyeing up the dating scene.

She recently said: 'Up until a year or so ago I was a serial dater. In fact, since I was 17 I have always been with someone.'

But explaining how the rules of romance change the older she gets, Elizabeth asserted: 'You can't date me and expect me to have the same past as a 24-year-old. Most of the people I meet also have ex-girlfriends or ex-wives and children. 

'You have to accept that, or start dating men in their 20s, which is absurd,' she said before backtracking and adding, 'Though, I tell you, Joan Collins is married to a fabulous man 32 years younger than her.'
