Olivia Palermo flashes her thighs in over-the-knee leather boots and a short plaid dress as she leads the stars at Dior's Haute Couture PFW show

Paris Haute Couture fashion week has kicked off with a stylish bang, with stars of the celebrity and fashion worlds uniting for the shows.

And, continuing with the undeniably chic theme, Olivia Palermo led the stars at the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2016 show on day two of the event on Monday morning.

Always impeccably clad, the 29-year-old looked lovely as she flashed a hint of thigh in her otherwise conservative ensemble.

The reality TV star encased her svelte frame in a sweet red and orange plaid dress, complete with a fitted waistline and stiff skater-style skirt.

The short length of the dress - which she wore layered over a long-sleeved black top for warmth in the chilly temperature - allowed her to show off a hint of her toned, lean leg.

She further drew attention to her slim, enviable pins as she donned a pair of black leather over-the-knee boots with a towering heel, adding just the right amount of sex appeal to her outfit.

Go bold with brow-bar sunglasses by Dior

She’s the ultimate fashionista when it comes to setting trends. So when Olivia Palermo showed us to Dior’s Haute Couture 2016 show, she didn’t leave us in the shade with her style.

The global style icon wowed in her Dior checkered dress which she styled over a black turtleneck sweater and some sexy over the knee boots, finishing the look off with some statement brow bar sunglasses from none other than Dior as well.

Every year there is one style that's the star of the sunglasses scene, and we reckon this a serious contender. They're pretty futuristic and we love the metal bridge, or (brow bar as we like to call it!) and super cool mirrored lenses.

We've already spotted them on everyone from Kylie Jenner to Rihanna and Gigi so it's time to get involved. Click the link (right) to buy them now at Nordstrom.

But since celebrity shades have a nasty habit of being accompanied by a whopping price tag, you could also check out our hot high street picks in the edit below

Olivia wore her honey blonde locks down in a fuss-free wavy style and covered her face with a pair of funky oversized shades with a bar across the top for extra-added retro value.

Earlier in the day, the stunner had stepped out at the Schiaparelli in a more androgynous look, but it was this new feminine style that won her the most fashion brownie points.

Olivia wasn't the only famous face at the Christian Dior show: she was also joined by the likes of Noomi Rapace and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, among others.

Swedish star Noomi, 36, went for a seriously glamorous gothic vibe as she covered her slender figure in a floor-sweeping, billowing black and purple floral gown.

Her black cropped locks were swept over to one side in a dramatic 'do, and she tied the look together with a vampish deep red lip and heavily lined eyes.

Olga meanwhile opted for a sweet-around-the-edges look, flashing her lovely legs underneath a cool straight-cut pale sleeveless jacket, worn as a dress over a white blouse.

The French actress, 36, covered her pretty face with aviator sunglasses and wore her brunette tresses in an easy loose style, the lengths tumbling over her shoulders.

Also lining the front row at Dior's event was Prince Harry's famous ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, and Brit model icon Erin O'Connor.

To keep it from looking too casual, she added height with a pair of chic black and silver t-bar pointed heels, and wore her golden hair in an elegant updo.

And Erin, 37, added a much-needed splash of colour to proceedings, covering her willowy physique in a bright red coat caped over her shoulders.

She completed her front row-ready aesthetic with a loose cream cami tucked into a pair of wide-legged lilac trousers.
