She's known for rocking killer outfits on the red carpet but Margot Robbie has proved she's just as able to wow in an off-duty look.

The actress was swarmed by fans when arriving at LAX airport on Sunday, and it certainly wasn't hard to see why.

Dressed to impress, the Australian actress flashed a glimpse of her white bra underneath a matching T-shirt as she strolled through the terminal.

The 25-year-old teamed her top with a short black skirt and the stylish number finished well above her knees ensuring her perfect pins were on display.

Mixing up the black and white colour scheme, Margot sported grey socks over the sheer tights, though her statement jacket was still a sleek black to match her skirt.

With her hands in her pockets, the stunner did her best to keep a low profile as she made her way through the airport.

Working it: Opting for a monochrome look, the 25-year-old teamed her top with a short black skirt, the stylish number finishing well above her knees and featuring a sultry slit down the front

But even a pair of dark shades couldn't fool the most dedicated of fans.

Meanwhile wearing her golden locks worn out in a tousled wave, the former Neighbours star eventually flashed her signature smile to onlookers and signed a few autographs.

The Suicide Squad star, who plays anti-hero Harley Quinn, seemed to be travelling alone, with no sign of her boyfriend Tom Ackerley.

In between films, the Australian soap star has been taking some time off and doing charity work but is getting set to be back in the spotlight.

Margot's latest flick The Big Short was nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Motion Picture on Thursday, meaning the actress will be frocked up and on the red carpet at the Academy Awards.

The Hollywood A-Lister has a number of other films due out this year, including Whiskey Tango Foxtrot with fellow Australian soap star Stephen Peacocke as well as comedian Tina Fey.

Margot will also be part of the stellar cast in the superhero movie Suicide Squad alongside Will Smith and Jared Leto, which is set to be released in August.

But before all of that, the fashionista is set to make it on to many of the Best Dressed lists across Award's Season as a red carpet regular.
