'I wouldn't do it with anybody else': Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby say they would quit This Morning if the other person left the show

They recently won the Live Magazine category at the National Television Awards, cementing their reputation as one of Britain's most beloved on-screen duos.

And now This Morning co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have revealed to OK! magazine that if one quits the show, the other would find it difficult to deal with a replacement.

'We know each other really well,' Phil said. 'I’d go as far as to say that if Holly said: "I don’t want to do it any more", then I would follow. I don’t think I would do it with anybody else full-time.’

Holly, who looked absolutely ravishing in white at the recent NTA Awards, concurred, describing their TV union as 'a brilliant partnership.’

The 34-year-old former model previously hosted Dancing on Ice alongside Philip, who is nearly 20 years her senior.

Despite their on-screen composure, Holly admitted that her elder co-host often makes it difficult for her to keep a straight face on the sofa.

‘I can say the smallest thing but this one [Phillip] has got the dirtiest mind and I just hear that laughter next to me and that’s it, it sets me off every time,’ she said.

After collecting their award, they headed to Ant McPartlin's house, where they both wound up with their faces covered in condiments, including mustard, piccalilli and chilli sauce, after a game of Pie-Face.

The pair also shared pictures of themselves downing tequila shots with Rylan Clark on Instagram.

Holly, who boasts more than 393,000 Instagram followers, included this caption: 'Here we go!!! @schofe @rylanclarkneal #nta xxx.'

The duo turned up to work the next day wearing the same clothes from the night before.

Thankfully Holly has the perfect cure for any hangover.

‘It starts with breakfast with a bacon sandwich, and then it’s just ‘carb me up’ until bedtime,' she said.

'A lot of macaroni cheese will be eaten and white bread – stodge!'
