Losers! Julia Louis-Dreyfus shares hilarious snap showing dejected VEEP cast after bombing out at SAG Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus knows how to see the funny side of losing.

After having been nominated for awards in two categories, the Veep cast came away empty handed on Saturday at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles.

But they turned their disappointment into a giggle and a funny snap.

The entire cast was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus, 55, garnered a nomination in Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series category.

Some on the HBO show took the news better than others it seems, as star Julia shared a comical picture depicting the fallout from the loss.

The caption was relatively simple, if not somewhat sarcastic, stating 'Us. Now. SAGawards it's an honor to be nominated.'

While most of the group simply raised the 'L' for loser hand signal to their foreheads, the hysterical Tony Hale looked as though he took the loss more personally.

The Arrested Development vet can be seen kneeling in front of the group chugging what looks to be a bottle of champagne.

At least the cast looked like winners on the red carpet.

The former Seinfeld star's visage appeared impressively youthful and her simple do complimented the ensemble's chic simplicity.

Eye-catching: Co-star Anna Chlumsky, 35, looked exceedingly glamorous in a long black strapless gown with a racy slit up the left leg

Tony Hale, 45, looked extremely dapper in a classic-cut velvet tuxedo.

While they didn't win this year, luckily the show has been honored in previous years, including a number of Emmys and, as it happens, a SAG award.
