Cringe: Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.Am suffered something of a toe-curling gaffe on Saturday's episode of BBC talent show The Voice, this week - when he accidentally pressed his 'chair choice' button
The incident came as Alaric Green took to the stage to give a dramatic rendition of the theatrical song Broken Vow.
For the majority of the song each of the four judges - Will, Paloma Faith, Ricky Wilson and Boy George - sat without showing interest.
However, as Will.I.Am went to make notes on his pad, he inadvertently pressed his buzzer and spun around - sparked a chain reaction contest with Ricky.
However, as the chair made its 180-degree spin, the LA-born star could be seen mouthing the words 'Oh no! I din't mean to do that!'.

Not cool! ASs the chair made its 180-degree spin, he could be seen mouthing 'Oh no! I din't mean to do that!'
Seemingly delighted with the result, the long-haired hopeful - who works as a bouncer - thanks both mentors for their show of support. A move which prompted Will to come clean.
'Can I be honest? So, I am sitting here listening to you sing, I am writing the notes down, and then my arm hits the button. No, but I think the lord works in mysterious ways.
'Now you got Ricky turned too, I think, if there was ever like a ghost...'

An awkward moment of silence ensued, but it all worked out in the end as the 21 year-old later joined the Kaiser Chiefs singer's team.
'I don’t know what is good and what is not in this world, and I don’t know what I’m doing anyway,' Rickie said. 'Who I am I to get in the way of someone who is good? I know people will like you.'
Sadly, the other remaining judges weren't so keen.

Phew! The incident managed to level-off OK after the gaffe - which caused an awkward moment
Boy George responded: 'It is not what I expected to see when I turned around. You look like something out of Game of Thrones.
'You have a beautiful voice, but I’m not sure what I’d be able to do with you as a singer, and that’s why I didn’t turn around.'
Meanwhile, Paloma Faith gave her verdict, saying: 'Personally, it just isn’t for me. You’re really good at it.'
Line-up: Ricky Wilson, Will.i.am, Paloma Faith and Boy George on BBC1's The Voice
Hopeful: Other contestants on the show included Heather Cameron-Hayes, who was also bidding on success
Making his mark? J Sealy also delivered a strong performance - and won over the interest of Boy George
