Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared to have finally met his match after starring alongside France rugby great Sebastian Chabal during a charity concert in Paris on Monday.

The PSG talisman was so impressed with his supporting actor that he shared an Instagram picture of the pair, accompanied by the caption: 'Legend! I thought I was the only beast in France...'

The retired France flanker also took to social media to share a picture of the two with a message thanking Ibrahimovic for the fight and requesting a re-match.

It has not been confirmed if Ibra triumphed in the mock fight, which was performed to the song 'Oh Marie' by Johnny Halliday, although it was the first time that a non-French sportsmen had appeared in the show - PSG manager Laurent Blanc performed in 2011.

PSG defeated Angers 5-1 on Saturday to extend their lead to an incredible 21 points in Ligue 1, with Blanc praising the Sweden international for opening the scoring.

'Our first goal was fundamental. Things got easier after the 1-0, but the team always remained focused. We were rewarded with some great goals and enjoyed ourselves out there,' said the coach.

Ibrahimovic, who has scored 24 goals in 30 appearances this season, also performed a showboating juggling act in the midst of the game, keeping the ball up three times in the lead up to his side's third goal through Gregory van der Wiel.

Blanc had previously hailed the sometimes controversial striker's leadership qualities after he stepped in as a captain for injured Thiago Silva.

Blanc told FourFourTwo: 'Ibrahimovic does not just score goals, but he is an important player in our system and gives confidence to the team,' Blanc said following last week's 2-1 victory over Toulouse.

'He is one of the leaders of the team. People should not forget he is a leader and he has been one for quite some time.'
