Heading to the market on his own, the 48 Hours star embraced a very laid-back sartorial approach.

Obviously opting for comfort, Nick sported a heavy white striped shirt, which he wore open to the navel.

The Prince of Tides star teamed the casual shirt with what appeared to a pair of old and well-worn blue jogging bottoms.

And sticking to the scruffy and comfortable tone of his outfit, the actor rounded his ensemble off with a pair of scuffed and muddy leather loafers.

The stars greying locks also added a wild and ragged touch to his look, as the Cape Fear star's hair stuck out at all angles in a wild tangle.

The actor didn't appear in the most relaxed of moods, however, as he sported a surly expression on his craggy features.

Looking as though he'd caught the sun during his excursion, the actor's chest and face looked slightly red with a touch of sun burn.

Nick first made waves in the 1976 miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man, in which he played the struggling Tom Jordache.

He won over the ladies' heart during his early career, and continued to pump out more movies including 1982's 48 Hours, 1983's Under Fire, 1986's Down And Out In Beverly Hills and Cape Fear and The Prince Of Tides, both in 1991 - the latter of which earned him a Best Actor nomination at the Oscars.

The actor is still working, appearing in four features last year, including, A Walk In The Woods opposite Robert Redford.
