Her daring dress sense earned herself an invite to some of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week's hottest shows.

And Fergie was showing off more of her style prowess back in London on Saturday, donning an eye-catching coat for a trip to The Chiltern Firehouse.

Turning heads in the brightly coloured ensemble, the 40-year-old seemed eager to get in from the cold, keeping her head down as she briskly made her way into the restaurant.

Featuring fiery shades of orange, red and black, the Labels or Love hitmaker was appropriately dressed for a night at the Firehouse.

Keeping the flame coloured coat the focal point of her outfit, she donned a black button down shirt and leather trousers that clung to her toned pins.

Adding some height to her petite frame, the star donned a pair of lace up black heels that were partially concealed by her figure-hugging pants.

Fergie has got a very unique sense of style. On red carpets, she always chooses dresses that are statement, often embellished and usually super colorful. Slicking her golden locks into a chic ponytail, Fergie - real name Sarah Ferguson - exposed her pretty face, which radiated with a healthy glow.

Adding to the glamour, she wore a sweep of navy eye shadow, but left the rest of her make-up palette neutral in tone.

The songstress, who shares two-year-old son Axl with her actor husband Josh Duhamel, kept accessories to a minimum, sporting a stack of gold rings and stud earrings.

Meanwhile, Fergie has been hard at work on her second album, a follow-up to her 2006 offering, The Duchess.

She explained that the process has been lengthy as expectations are high after the long wait between releases.

Speaking to MailOnline she revealed: 'I’ve been taking my time on it because I keep discovering old ideas I had from back in the day which are suddenly relevant.

'But I need to keep it on the down-low for now – although there’s going to be appearances from all the latest cutting-edge acts. will.i.am is on board and has helped out, which I know fans will love.'
