He rocketed to fame after flashing his impeccable abs in the music video for his 1996 hit, Mysterious Girl.

And while almost two decades have passed, it seems Peter Andre is still relishing in his glory days as he shared a fun snap on Instagram on Monday.

Posting a photograph of himself in a pool, his growing dark tresses falling around his face, the 42-year-old couldn't resist poking fun at his old look.

'I clearly still can't get over it 20 years on :),' the former husband of Katie Price captioned the snap, which resembles the same curtains hairstyle a 22-year-old Peter rocked in the now iconic music video.

The video for Peter's chart-topping single saw the pop star showcasing his impressive physique in the water's of Thailand, though his hairstyle was just as much his signature.

But the snap doesn't mark the first time Peter has chosen to model the look of his heyday as he also posed with the dated hairstyle in November.

'I just realised I'm having a 22 year old moment with the hair haha,' he wrote alongside the image which depicted him posing in the back of a car following a Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal.

Meanwhile, Peter recently made headlines after revealing he is back on good terms with ex-wife Katie.

Speaking to Lorraine last month, the singer said: 'It’s really strange even with things that have happened in the past, me and Kate we’re okay now.

'We see each other when we see each other with the kids, and it’s all nice, very civilised.
