She's used to big audiences.

But even Lady Gaga has never had this many eyes on her as she prepares to perform the national anthem at Super Bowl 50.

The 29-year-old was confirmed on Tuesday as the voice who will belt out Star Spangled Banner in front of and estimated 120million viewers around the world.

Gaga's performance will be televised live minutes before kick-off at San Francisco's Levi's Stadium, as the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers clash for the top prize in American football.

This year the famous halftime show will be performed by Coldplay, who will be joined on stage by Beyonce.

And according to E! the NFL have other secret acts ready to join in to mark the hallmark final, in a show that will highlight 'the past, present and future of music'.

Billboard reported that one of those acts is Bruno Mars; while the site reported back in September he was 'curating' the show, a behind-the-scenes clip of a CBS program posted on Twitter this week appeared to catch Chris Martin confirming it.

'This may be Beyonce's footprint,' the Coldplay frontman jokes in the video. 'I'd say she was here about four hours ago. Let's look for a Bruno one.'

Bruno is no stranger to halftime shows, having shared the 2014's Super Bowl XLVIII one with the Red Hot Chilly Peppers.

Nor is Beyonce, who performed alongside her Destiny's Child sisters Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams the year before.

On Tuesday, Lady Gaga was also confirmed as a performer at this year's Grammy Awards the following weekend.

E! reported that the Mother Monster will deliver an 'Experiential' tribute to the late David Bowie who will also be receiving a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award.

'We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed - almost in a single moment - we knew we had to change direction,' said Grammys executive producer Ken Ehrlich

'We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honor David. She's perfect for it.'
