'We got the biggest caucus in the country!' Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen run for political office in pun-filled Super Bowl advert

In the midst of another topsy-turvy election year a new party has emerged, one that truly meets the needs of the American people.

Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen announced the formation of a new political platform under the banner of the Bud Light Party in a just released Super Bowl advert.

The video shows the two comedic actors campaigning across the nation with the promise of a better world through the love of light beer and rom-com favourite Paul Rudd.

With Bud Lights in their hands, the commercial begins with Schumer, 34, and Rogen, 33, taking the stage at the nation's capital.

'My fellow Americans, they say we are a nation divided. They say we disagree on everything,' Schumer began dramatically in an orator's voice.

It then cuts to Rogen, who is clearly a bit drunk as he slurs: 'That's not true we agree on a lot!'
