'He's like my brother': Gwyneth Paltrow says estranged husband Chris Martin is family and they still sleep over at each other's homes

Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up on her relationship with estranged husband Chris Martin.

The actress told Glamour magazine that the Coldplay singer, 38, is now 'like a brother' and that they still sleep over at each other's homes as she posed for the cover of the March issue.

'We spend a lot of time together,' the 43-year-old told the magazine, saying that they would always be family.

'He's been away for two weeks (promoting Coldplay's new album). Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school,' she told Glamour.

So…we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids.

'We'll have a weekend all together; holidays, we're together. We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother,' she said.

Gwyneth and Chris announced their separation in a statement on her Goop website in March, 2014, famously saying they would 'consciously uncouple.' She filed for divorce in April last year.

Glam up your look in Derek Lam booties

Gwyneth Paltrow looked like a million bucks as she took on the cover of Glamour.

The starlet insisted that she's self made, and didn't take a dime from her parents after she turned 18...we love your humble qualities Gwyn.

The blondie wore a series of designers for her photo shoot, from Celine booties, to our favorite orange Fendi dress and white lace up booties.

While most of the items she's wearing are unavailable, you'll be happy to know that her Derek Lam lace up booties are still up for grabs at Orchard Mile, they might set you back $850, but you can't put a price on style!

The Oscar winner also opened up on the criticism she gets for her lifestyle business Goop, as she prepared to launch her new skincare line.

She said criticism of the site as too pricey is unfair.

'Sometimes I'll get annoyed if someone's like, 'Goop is so expensive.' I'm like, 'Have you looked at the website? Have you seen the range of price points? 'Cause we sell things that are $8,' she said.

'Once in a while, if I'm exhausted and overwhelmed, I'll be like, 'Ugh, that bugs me,' or, 'That hurt my feelings.' But very rarely. I don't lose sleep over it. It's my business to live my life and learn my lessons. I don't care what anybody else thinks,' she said.

The actress also said that she is self-made, and her famous parents, director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, cut her off at age 18 when she dropped out of college to become an actor.

'People think, 'She's just a rich kid.' Until I was 18, I was. Then I was broke. I've never taken a dime off my parents. I'm completely self-made.

'I remember once asking my dad for money, like, 'Please, I'm really stuck. Can you help?' And he said, 'You're more than welcome to come over for dinner.' That was it. Those were the days. Enough to know the value of money.'

The star, who is dating American Horror Story producer and writer Brad Falchuk, also said that she's open to remarriage.

'I guess so,' she said. 'I mean, I believe in marriage. But I'm not even divorced yet. So give me a minute.'

Gwyneth also said that she thinks her children, 11-year-old daughter Apple and nine-year-old son Moses are 'in a really good space' after the split.

And she suspects they may follow in her and Chris' footsteps and become performers.

'They're smart, they're funny, they have pretty good heads on their shoulders. We'll see what difficulties come with adolescence and what careers they want.

'Unfortunately, I think they're both gonna be drawn to perform. They're naturals -they sing, act, play guitar, do stand-up -it's brimming out of them,' the star said.

'So I feel like my mother. Whenever I said I wanted to be an actress, she said, 'Oh no, don't. You're too smart to be an actress. Do something else.'

And the Iron Man star also admitted that she still skips sunscreen.

'I still tan without sunscreen, which is really, totally f**ked up,' she told Glamour in a video interview.

She also shared her beauty philosophy, saying: 'The older I get the more I appreciate being comfortable with yourself and liking yourself and I think that radiates such an allure and such an attractive quality.'
