The National 113th Congressional District Wall Map
Congressional districts are the 435 areas from which people are elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. After the apportionment of congressional seats among the states based on decennial census population counts, each state with multiple seats is responsible for establishing congressional districts for the purpose of electing representatives. The boundaries and numbers shown for the congressional districts are those specified in the state laws and/or court orders establishing the districts within each state.
This wall map depicts congressional district boundaries in effect for the 113th Congress of the United States (January 2013-2015). The map includes county names and boundaries for each state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands. The map also includes a listing of the names of all members of the 113th Congress, as of January 22, 2013.
The 2010 Census Redistricting Data [P.L. 94-171] Summary Files and their geographic support products are available through the 2010 Census Data and Resources page of this website. In addition, the retabulated Census 2010 Summary File 1 data for the 113th Congressional districts as well as geographic support products for the 113th Congressional and new state legislative districts can be found on the 113th Congressional and New State Legislative District Plans.
