Laurina Fleure's refusal to take part in a Tucker Trial saw tensions rising between her and camp leader Shane Warne last week.

But after she redeemed herself in the cliffhanger challenge followed by an epic perform in a task entitled The Viper Room it appeared that the reality star and the cricket ace had a new-found respect for one another. 

Now a magazine has claimed that although the pair have bickered on the show it's actually because they are attracted to one another.

'He's telling friends she's the reason he went on the show ' a source told Famous magazine. Adding: 'It's as if they've been dating for five weeks.'  

'All of their arguing is just to mask what's really going on behind the scenes.' 

The magazine claims that Laurina,31, and Shane,46, met in Melbourne some time ago and that 'the chemistry was instant'.

Laurina is in a relationship with 28-year-old Lewis Romano and the Melbourne businessman gushed about his girl last week on the spin off show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! NOW.

A spokesperson for Shane and Laurina has been approached for a comment. 

Last week Laurina was seen breaking down and refusing to take part in a tucker trail. 

She flat out refused to even attempt to eat a bull's eye and blood soaked maggots despite coaxing from Shane. 

'I have boundaries and that's not OK. I'm not happy.'

Shane tried to encourage Laurina to give the challenge a go, but to no avail.

'Do you want me to gag? Do you want to see me gag?' she snapped at Shane and fellow participants Anthony and Dean.

'There is no way in hell I would ever be able to chew that and swallow it. So I am not going to torture myself'. 

Following the gut wrenching dare the cricket legend explained in his piece to camera: 'I think it's my responsibility as camp leader to pull her aside and have a little bit of a chat'.

While sitting at the camp site Shane explained to Laurina 'you need to encourage people no matter what.

'I think one thing we all have to try and do is make sure we are aware of everyone...encourage no matter what,' he went on. 

When Shane arrived in camp he was seen sussing out who was single and who wasn't. 

His 14-year-old daughter Summer said that Jo Beth Taylor was her father's type.

Speaking to KIIS's  Matt Tilley and Meshel Laurie the teen revealed that he might like the former TV presenter.  

'Have you seen any of the ladies there that you go "uh oh", that she might be dad's type?' asked Matt. 

'One of the girls is flirting already... I can't remember her name, it's the blonde one, I think she's mid-40s,' Summer began.

When asked if she meant Jo, she replied: 'Yes! I think so.'
