Chris went on: 'She said to me, "Dad, the worst that could happen is that you’ll get turned into a meme"' he shared laughing, '"And after a month or so people will just forget!"'

Gwyneth and Chris announced their decision to 'consciously un-couple' after 11 years of marriage in March 2014, and finalised their divorce last year.

While the Shakespeare In Love star has been in a relationship with Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk for the past year and a half, the Clocks hit-maker is said to be dating Annabelle Wallis following a romance with Jennifer Lawrence.

The two stars have maintained an amicable relationship in order to co-parent their children, something which Gwyneth addressed in a recent interview.

'We spend a lot of time together,' she told Glamour magazine. 'He's been away for two weeks (promoting Coldplay's new album).

'Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school.

'So…we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids.

She added: 'We'll have a weekend all together; holidays, we're together. We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother.'
