Hola! Kelly Rowland and son Titan step out for birthday party as she reveals he's learning Spanish 'rather quickly'

She just had a night out with some pals on Friday evening.

But Kelly Rowland was back to mommy duty on Saturday afternoon, as she and 15-month-old son Titan visited a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood for a birthday party. 

The 34-year-old Destiny's Child singer kept things very casual and airy, as temperatures soared into summer-like territory.

She sported a simple white tank top for the occasion, along with some green pants.

A flannel shirt could be seen tied around her waist, as temperatures approached 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Dark aviator glasses and a small purse with chain shoulder strap completed the simple look.

Her raven locks were straight and pulled tightly back into a chic pony tail.

Meanwhile, Titan was looking hip in a cream colored long-sleeve shirt and khaki cargo pants. He even rocked some adorable grey Nike trainers with neon orange laces.

It was probably a good thing that Kelly decided to bring her little boy along for the party at the Mexican joint, as she recently revealed Titan has been learning Spanish and probably knows more words than she does. 

The songstress has been forced to learn the language as son Titan, whom she has with her husband Tim Witherspoon, has already started to pick up some of the words from his Argentinian nanny.

The brunette beauty told People: 'I'm having to learn because I don't want him to learn more Spanish than me and start talking circles around me. When she's speaking to him, he's picking it up. He's picking it up rather quickly.'

With all that's been going on, Kelly no doubt enjoyed her well-earned night off from mummy duties on Friday.

The Work singer showed off her post-baby body in skinny blue jeans and a matching shirt as she headed out with her girls.

Her toned physique looked phenomenal in her relaxed ensemble, which she finished off with a gorgeous grey coat with over-sized pockets and matching handbag.

She's been hard at work on her new album -  her first since having her adorable tot Titan, one,  with husband Tim Witherspoon.

But Kelly Rowland decided to give herself the night off on Friday, kicking her heels up for a get-together at Los Angeles hotspot The Nice Guy.

Speaking to ABC Radio, the pretty star revealed she has recorded a whopping 45 songs as she announced a follow-up album to 2013’s Talk A Good Game.

'I've recorded 45 songs to be completely honest, the challenge for me right now is solidifying like exactly what sound that is, I have three different sounds on the table,' she said.

'It's definitely more R&B and to the core of even the dance music, it's still soul and that's the core of who I am, is my soul, and I always want that to come across.'
