Catherine Zeta-Jones, 46, and husband Michael Douglas, 71, look perfectly close as they arrive in San Francisco ahead of the Super Bowl

It's the most highly anticipated sporting event of the season and so it's little wonder that Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas have jetted in for the Super Bowl

The power couple were pictured walking through the airport terminal together as they attended to blend in with the crowd, ahead of Sunday night's event.

Catherine, 46, and Michael, 71, looked perfectly close to one another as they conversed while going down the escalator together.

Co-star Bill Nighy recently appeared on This Morning to talk about how much he enjoyed working with the her.

'Everyone was beguiled by her,' he said. 'Wilson and Mannering are deluded enough to think they could be love rivals for her. They get into serious trouble as a result.

'Catherine was just great. She was wonderful - easy and nice and charming and clever - and it was dreamy doing business with her.'

Bill also said he was glad he didn't have to go in the sea in Scarborough, while filming, as Toby Jones had to.

'He had to carry Catherine out of the water,' he said. 'But not only that, he had to do that scene about 20 times.'
