Dakota Johnson keeps covered up in animal print coat teamed with jeans and heeled sandals at A Bigger Splash screening

She became a household name for stripping off when she took on the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

But keeping covered up on Sunday evening, Dakota Johnson opted for a casual ensemble as she attended the screening of A Bigger Splash in London.

Held at the Ham Yard Hotel, the 26-year-old looked demure as she joined director Luca Guadagnino at the photocall.

Cutting her usual stylish figure, Dakota donned an animal print coat with a pair of dark navy jeans. 

Adding height to her outfit, Johnson stood tall in a pair of leather black heeled sandals and with a few pieces of jewellery.

With her brunette hair falling at her shoulders, the actress showcased her porcelain skin as she choose to keep her make-up minimal.

In the 2015 erotic thriller film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, Dakota portrays central character Penelope Lanier. 

The motion picture also starsTilda Swinton, Matthias Schoenaerts and Ralph Fiennes.

The screenplay explores the tensions that unfold when Marianne (Swinton) and her boyfriend (Schoenaerts) are paid a visit, during their restful trip on an island, by her ex Harry (Fiennes).

Harry, who also happens to be the one who introduced Marianne to her current other half, is also accompanied by his daughter Penelope (Dakota). 

Premiered at the 72nd Venice Film Festival, A Bigger Splash won the Soundtrack Stars Award and Best Innovative Budget Award at the annual event.

The film, which runs just over two hours, is set to be released in UK cinemas on February 12.
