'A treat for the ladies': James Corden strips off as he recreates Varsity Blues whipped cream scene for Late Late Show skit

He's never been afraid to make fun of himself in the name of comedy.

So when it came to recreating some of his favourite sports movies for a skit on the Late Late Show, James was happy to strip off in a bid to entertain his audience.

The portly comedian, 37, went shirtless as he recreated Ali Larter's famous scene from Varsity Blues, which sees her character Darcy Sears wear a whipped cream 'bikini' in a bid to seduce James Van Der Beek's quarterback Mox.

James's topless scene came as he attempted to recreate his favourite sporting movies in honour of the Super Bowl.

The English star was joined by Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dress co-stars Anna Kendrick, Adam DeVine and Zac Efron as they covered 20 sport films in seven minutes.

Performing against a green screen, the foursome's backdrop kept changing to help illustrate famous scenes from films as far back as 1970s baseball movie Bad News Bears to more recent features such as The Blind Side.

In one scene, Adam and Zac are repeating lines from 1999 coming-of-age, American football movie Varsity Blues, before James bounces into shot with his whipped cream bra and a blonde wig.

A stunned Zac turns to James and says: 'Er, we're not doing that scene. We cut this bit.'

However, James doesn't seem to mind and looks suggestively as the audience, quipping: 'It's still a treat for the ladies ain't it?'

James isn't the only one to dress in drag for the skit, with Adam and Zac both dressing as cheerleaders to perform a cheer from Bring It On.

For another part of the skit, Zac stepped into Kevin Costner's shoes as he recreated a scene from 1989 baseball film Field Of Dreams.

Wearing a baseball shirt, Zac wanders into a field of corn as Anna is heard whispering 'if you build it, he will come'.
