A supporting role: Eddie Redmayne could once-again rely on his doting wife, Hannah Bagshawe, to lend him some support as they arrived at the 88th Academy Awards Nominees luncheon, on Monday
Heading in to the star-studded event, held every year in honour of all those nominated for an award at the world-famous awards, Eddie and Hannah kept a tender hold on each other.
The couple - who confirmed they are expecting their first child last month - couldn't help but stare adoringly at each other as they made their way up the red carpet.
And Hannah appeared to be subtly concealing her blossoming baby bump at the event, by wearing an A-Line navy dress - featuring mutlicoloured detailing - which she teamed with dark mauve heels.
Obviously keen to let her husband soak up most of the limelight, the pretty publicist otped for a demure and natural look, wearing her long chestnut tresses in a centre parting, while she wore a natural and understated palette of make-up.

Donning a tailored two-piece suit, in a modern tailored fit, The Danish Girl star complemented his slim physique.
Wearing a white pressed shirt with a lilac knitted tie, Eddie pulled off a thoroughly modern twist on a staple red carpet classic.
And British GQ's Best Dressed Man of 2016 added a understated flare to his dapper look, with a pair of oxblood lace up shoes.

His main rival: However, the actor faces stiff competition in this year's race for Hollywood's most coveted prize in the form of Leonardo DiCaprio - who despite five previous nominations has never won at the awards
The couple attended the event due to Eddie's nomination in the Best Actor catefory, thanks to his starring role as transgender artist Lili Elbe in The Danish Girl.
However, the actor faces stiff competition in this year's race for Hollywood's most coveted prize in the form of Leonardo DiCaprio - who despite five previous nominations has never won at the awards.
And Leonardo, who has been nominated for his role in The Revenant, may have arrived on his own at the event, he found the film's director Alejandro González Iñárritu happy to lend him some support.
The Revenant is this year's Academy Awards juggernaut, having being nominated for 12 Oscars; and it is already being touted as the vehicle for 41-year-old Leo to bag the Best Actor gong.
