She might be a Victoria's Secret model but it seems that Shanina Shaik is a Super Bowl fan too.

The 24-year-old model decided to share her excitement ahead of the big game in a fun Snapchat video.

In the footage Shanina is seen with 'paint' on her face as a huge tub of Gatoraid is dumped over the head.

'Team spirit!' Victoria's Secret model Shanina Shaik shared her excitement for the Super Bowl as she posted a playful video of herself having a tub of Gatorade dumped on her head on Sunday

The make-up, the liquid and the drink tub are all superimposed into the footage, thanks to a special filter on the video application.

At the beginning of the video Shanina can be seen looking towards towards the camera before feigning a look of surprise as the 'liquid' pours over her.

The model wrote 'Team SPIRIT' along with a football and a peace sign emoticon in the caption of the video.

Earlier in the week the Melbourne-born beauty shared a picture of a Carolina Panthers player, and declared to her 655,000 fans on Instagram that she will be cheering them on during the game.

It's been a whirlwind few weeks for the brunette beauty, who announced her engagement to DJ Ruckus, real name Gregory Andrews in early January.

Later in the month she returned to her home country for an Australia Day cruise on Sydney Harbour, before she jetted to Paris and then the Bahamas for work.

She is set to return to her native Australia this week to strut her stuff for the Myer autumn fashion showcase at Barangaroo.

The leggy brunette will appear alongside Rachael Finch, Jodi Anasta, Jennifer Hawkins and Kris Smith who are under contract with the Australian department store.
