Justin Bieber gives French Montana a $150k gold chain necklace as a birthday gift and the rapper adds $90k in extra diamonds

It must be nice working with Justin Bieber. 

The 21-year-old pop singer gave rapper French Montana a $150,000 gold chain as a birthday gift in November after the two became friends in the studio.

But the ex of Khloé Kardashian added $90,000 in diamonds for an extra layer of spectacular bling to his necklace, as reported by TMZ.

Bieber and Montana worked on their single together, Why You Mad (Infinity Remix) with Mariah Carey and T.I. last summer.

The pair became close friends since then and the Love Yourself hit-maker gifted French for his 31st birthday with the expensive jewelry.

French shared an Instagram snapshot on Friday of the upgraded necklace as he wrote: 'Shout out to my bro @justinbieber for the bday gift and s/o to @iceman_nick for the details‼'

The following day, Grammy nominee Bieber took to social media to share his excitement for the upcoming Super Bowl game.

He posted an Instagram snap with on-again girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, 19, centered between a group of his friends.

'She loving the crew,' the Sorry singer captioned the photo which was taken at Fort Mason Park.

The Morocco native and his Kocktails with Khloe ex opened up about their past relationship during a visit to Kylie Jenner's radio show, Kylie Radio on Wednesday.

'We have history and we've had a relationship and a great friendship and I love that we are still friends,' revealed Khloé according to E!.

'I don't believe in f***ing and ducking. We had a great relationship and I like that we can still be friends.'

Khloé and French were previously in a relationship for eight months in 2014, before calling it quits in September.

And while they reconciled for a short time, the pair eventually split again that December.

French was the first person Khloé had a relationship with after filing for divorce from husband of four years Lamar Odom in 2013.
