She always manages to look effortlessly glamorous when she steps out.

And Emilia Clarke was living up to her stylish reputation as emerged in Los Angeles on Sunday, donning a backless navy top as she went shopping with her male friend.

Stocking up on healthy snacks ahead of the Super Bowl, the 29-year-old turned heads in her chic ensemble.

Daring to go braless under her blue halter top, the flimsy fabric was secured by just two thin straps that wrapped around her shoulders.

Teaming the navy vest with a pair of white tapered trousers, the Game Of Thrones star stunned in her summery ensemble.

Adding some height to her frame in a pair of white wedges, Emilia seemed in good spirits on the outing.

She might be known for her glamorous dresses as Daenerys Targaryen on screen, but off screen Emilia Clarke is known for more of a casual vibe. She stepped out ahead of a Super Bowl party at the weekend in a chic yet comfortable get up of white tailored trousers, sleek navy halter top and a pair of white espadrille wedges.

The key addition in our opinion though, which made sure gained her style brownie points, was the navy and brown contrast varsity jacket which she slung over her shoulders. We've been a fan of bomber and varsity jackets for a while now, ever since Cara and Kylie persuaded us they was the only jackets to be seen in, and now Emilia's solidifying our love for the trend.

She kept her accessories simple for the trip, donning a pair of gold mirrored sunglasses and a taupe shoulder bag.

Clearly getting into the spirit for the big football match later, she also donned a navy varsity jacket with tan leather sleeves as she headed into the organic food shop.

Joined by a male friend, the pair seemed to be distracted - no doubt sorting out their plans for the rest of the day - both texting furiously in the car park.

The star will no doubt be taking advantage of the little free time she has before throwing herself into the promotional work for her next big project, Me Before You.

Starring in the big screen adaptation of Jojo Moyes' best-selling novel, Emilia takes on the role of reluctant carer Louisa Clark, who strikes up an unlikely friendship with paralyzed Will Traynor, played by Sam Claflin.

The star will also be back on TVscreens as Daenerys Targaryen when Game Of Thrones season six premieres in April.
